Rowdy Rooster Woodworks started as a milling and woodworking company, not a wood care brand. Our products weren't developed in a lab. It all started in a Pennsylvania woodshop.

Why We Started Making Our Own Finishes

Every piece we built needed a finish that could hold up: cutting boards, butcher blocks, furniture. We went looking for products that did the job without cutting corners on ingredients or price, and kept coming up short. What was on the market was either overpriced, too thin, or made with things we didn't want touching a kitchen surface.

So we started developing our own.

From Our Shop to Yours

What started as finishes for our own woodworking projects grew into Rowdy Rooster Woodworks. We formulate and produce every cutting board gel, conditioning wax, and surface oil blend ourselves, holding them to the same standard we held our own furniture and millwork to.
